Sunday Post

That time of the week again. I should probably be more concerned about a research paper that's due at lunch tomorrow, but I worked out that I could actually not even hand a paper in and I'd still have around 70-80% in the class, sooooo yeah. Enjoy! More Grace Potter at the bottom again this week. Instead of Satriani she's with her actual band this time, The Nocturnals, so it's nice to get a solid taste of what she's about herself. Have a good week!

So gospelly and delicious. She's playing a festival in Pitt Meadows on Canada Day, but she's the only one on the bill I actually want to see and it's eighty bucks. Plus I'm hoping to get my ass down to the West End for Canada Day anyway. Decisions, decisions. Here you go - "Big White Gate"

For the Love of Cities.

Classes are all done! Couple papers, but my priority levels for a lot of my academic school stuff is hilariously low, so I actually have lots of spare time now. This translates into reading, movies, lots of music, and posts that are on days other than Sunday. :)

As those who know me pretty well will likely be able to tell you, I have an extremely intense love for New York. I used to hate cities; I spent my whole life in Fort Langley and was convinced that it was small-town for life for me. Then I moved to Victoria and all of sudden three months later I found myself completely drawn to New York. I have no idea how it started or what brought it on, but whatever the reason I have loved it since. I just can't get over how massive it is, all the history and "character" it has; there's no other city like it and in my opinion it's the greatest city in the world.

So yeah, I've been filling up a folder with pictures of the Big Apple. I'd love to share them all, but there's around 130 pictures soooo yeah, it'll have to be choice selections, haha (still quite a few, ahwell). Hope you enjoy, and if anyone's planning on going to New York for a couple months, let me know because I would absolutely love to stay there for a while (none of this "two week" shit - I don't want to visit places, I want to live them).

Sunday Post

I want to post more things other than just the Sunday Post. I still love this idea, I just keep finding lots of stuff that I think is rad and I just don't get around to posting it, ie. the huge pile of amazing music videos I found yesterday/last night. Maybe tomorrow?

Anyway, here ya go. Not as big a pile as usual this weekend, but still some good doozies in there.

Da da da daaaaaaaa. Found this around 2:30 AM. My brain still hurts from how amazing this is.

And yes, those are all exactly who you think they are. Like I said, my brain still hurts from the fact that this exists, and it's a good burn. Like, this is the same feeling I get when I think about The Beatles.
